Duties: Design and develop code for cyber security applications using MATLAB, Python to test against Trojan, malware injection to outsourced Internet of Things (IoT) devices without counter-engineering techniques.
Design experimental setup to capture electromagnetic side channel signals from computing devices by using Antennas, Spectrum analyzers (SA), Software Defined Radios (SDR) and oscilloscopes in order to detect modifications to hardware or software of the computing devices.
Develop signal analyzing tools and algorithms to monitor/track devices/programs in real time with high resolution by constructing neural networks and sequential models such as Markov Models.
Requirements: PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field (or foreign equivalent) with specialization in measuring electromagnetic signals using Spectrum Analyzers, Software Defined Radios, and oscilloscopes, signal processing, and developing algorithms in Python and Matlab for cybersecurity applications.
